    • A table from Rich Text

    The rich text editor edits rich text but is a bit of a fouter to use especially for tables. It also can brake the validity of the code. Below is a table created with this.

     1-1  2-1  3-1  4-1
     1-2  2-2  3-2  4-2
     1-3  2-3  3-3  4-3
     1-4  two dash four  tres guion quatre  4-4

    it is better to create a table with the requisite number of rows and columns you want and immediately add something simple like a cell number in each cell and then save that off. after which you can edit the HTML in the text copy field

    I edited the HTML for the table below in the Copy: field to change the column headers and (some) contents after it was created and saved in the rich text editor.

    I edited the Text Content type, opening it up in the Rich Text Editor again to change the column headers and (some) contents (again once it was created and saved in the rich text editor).
